We were in Pruntytown, WV this past Sunday. We had one eye on the weather wondering if we would make it home, I could hardly speak due to sickness, and we were all sleep deprived. All the reason in the world to just go through the motions, right? Wrong! We had no choice but to focus and do our dead level best to present Christ through our music and let the Holy Spirit work …. did it ever! A seven year old boy came to Christ with Mom holding his hand. A middle-aged lady came to Christ. While his praying wife looked through tears, a grown man asked Jesus to be Lord of his life. We didn’t make it home because the heavy snow closed the interstate, but we rested well, safe and warm. We try our best to be faithful … God always is. Ain’t that what it’s all about?

Scott,
When I was growing up in West Virginia they used to run a juvenille detention center in Pruneytown. My mom and my aunts and unlces on several occasions warned me that if I did not behave or straighten up they were going to send me to “Pruneytown”. I am so glad that you made it there and back. Your story brought back many great memories. Love your music and forever grateful for a special song!
